Hi! I’m Pip,a New Zealand transplant to Canada, and my daughter is 2 years old.

When my daughter started on solid food, I spent a long time looking for recipes where I was happy with the ingredient list. Many seemed to have too much processed sugar and salt, which I wanted to avoid or at least limit. I also hoped she would enjoy food and eat a variety of things – which is where I begun my quest for decent homemade food!

I’ve always enjoyed cooking and baking, so it really just became an extension of what I already did, except I was catering to a little person. I had fun trying out new recipes, or altering something to come up with my own take on an existing one. This is a way of me keeping the recipes I use in one place, as well as sharing them with others!
